HELLO! :D

Yesterday was bizzare. And I'm in no way kidding! Lets' start with SHOP.

SHOP was simply amazing. On Sunday night, I received 4 smses telling me they couldn't come. My heart simply dropped and I was D: But, I still went on to prepare stuff. I msned Matthew at night, getting him to come on Monday.

Here's who brought who! :D

Then Wenkai walked past us while we were sharing, and he was like 'what's going on?' Timo said it was a 'secret society!' LOL. Well, Wenkai joined us anyway! :D I was like, OH MY! :D

Here's the thing, God really provides, and He 'added to their numbers day by day'. - Acts 2:47 So, to all other SHOP members from other schools, don't get discouraged in continuing SHOP! Do it all in the glory of God!

Geog Lesson.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. You can laugh now. Apparently I read about 'an island the shape and size of the US emerged from the sea' in my dreams! And, I led Sheena and Jiayi to believe what Mr. Lee said because I was nodding my head! And yes, we spent a good five minutes laughing till our tummies hurt after we found out the contrary! I felt really stupid after that :/

Results of Math Pop Quiz.

I failed D: Well, here's the thing. Right after I got back my paper I redid the entire quiz and I got all the answers right -.- It was so wasted! My paper was filled with little red marks indicating my carelessness here and there which cost me my grade! D:

Back to reality. That was so yesterday. Now, for today! Major events: Math 2 CT 2 and Math Viva Voce aka Math Oral.

Math 2 CT 2 was shaky. When I say shaky, I mean shaky! My hand was trembling throughout the entire paper. After the test I walked out of the classroom for a breather and someone (i forgot who) said that I looked white. I tried to bluff and said it was the sunlight. I was actually still suffering from the shock of math! The paper was not exactly difficult, think I have math phobia? Just great!

It was the same with Math Viva. I was doing all sorts of weird hand gestures while trying to explain in Mathematical terms the solution to the question they posed us. All I did was to go, 'yahyah' for everything they asked me! -aaahhhhh-

HELLO!

Right, I need motivation to do anything right now. Just anything! I've been like stoning, and I took 2 whole hours to learn chinese spelling! Who on earth takes 2 hours huh! D:

I think yesterday was great (: Woke up at 10.15am, got out of the house by 11 to chiong to math tuition, which apparently starts at 11am! Well, bro fetched me there, so I was only late for 10 mins! Hey, better late than never!

I think this phrase: 'My bro's coming to pick me up' or 'My bro's fetching me later on' is really really cool! I mean, you get all the stares and the wows and the 0.0 and people ask you, 'Your bro can drive already?(!)' And I'll answer smugly, 'Yes my dear'. And I'll beam and grin and blind you with my shiny smile! :D

Completed math assignment during math tuition, so cleared off my math homework! :D Chionged (yet again!) to church to meet Daryl and Phildia for SHOP stuff. Thank you Daryl for your really cute plaster! I know you only meant to give me one plaster, but I stole the other from you! After all, I've 2 heels you know (: Oh yes, my flats are hurting me so bad D: I need to get new shoes.

Speaking of 'new', I need new jeans too! All my jeans are getting loose(r) by the day! Okay, what I need is to eat more! Sha says volleyball training helps you to lose weight, but I feel fine! Never mind, I just need a shopping date! :D

After meeing Daryl and Phildia for a pathetic 30 mins, I did more math homework D: Studying in church is pretty awesome! :D There's nothing to distract me, like blogging on my com right now O: It's quiet and airy, and you cool down pretty fast on a really hot day like yesterday. (:

My lunch consisted of an Apple Pie bought hurriedly from Macs. I think the aunty was really confused as to why I was so flustered when I went to order an apple pie. I was on my toes cause I didn't want to miss the bus to church! The second part of my lunch was a whole lunch box full of honey stars! The majority of which went to Varrick! Eat more and grow faster kay, Varrick!

Had service after that and stayed for 20mins of cell. Bro came to pick me up for a family dinner. (See? I told you this phrase is cool! :D) Celebrated Wayne's birthday too! Yumm, crab dinner was awesome! Kudos to Shane, who missed out on it! Going for CIP hours, -beams-

I think, this week has just been amazing. Okay right, so we had an awful math 1 pop quiz today. So we have math 1 common test and chinese spelling and physics pop quiz next week. So we have LA presentations due the week after. But, so what!

I'MMA HAPPY GIRL! Simply because I've passed my Physics Test! I really expected to fail, or pass on the dot. But, I've gotten 13/20! Okay, I know that's average, or even below average in my class, but the fact that I did not fail is enthralling!

The Preacher's Prayer That Stirred Protest In the Kansas Legislature-Truth!

Summary of eRumor: The email says that a session of the Kansas State Senate was opened in prayer by a Pastor Joe Wright. His prayer was a sizzling one and prompted controversy. The story says that several members of the Senate got up and walked out and that Paul Harvey aired the text of the prayer and it prompted the largest response he's ever had.

The Truth: This event actually happened in the Kansas House (not Senate) in Topeka on January 23, 1996. Joe Wright is the pastor of Central Christian Church in Wichita and was guest chaplain that day. He prayed a prayer of repentance that was written by Bob Russell, pastor of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky. According to an article in the Kansas City Star from January 24, 1996, his prayer did stir controversy and one member of the legislative body walked out. Others criticized the prayer. The controversy didn't end there. Later that year in the Colorado House, Republican representative Mark Paschall angered lawmakers by using Joe Wright's prayer as the invocation. Some members there also walked out in protest.

Paul Harvey did air the story and the prayer. He got such a large response that a phone number was set up to handle the calls. He's aired it a couple more times since.

A real example of the story as it has been circulated:

The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively. The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India, Africa, and Korea.

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on "The Rest of the Story" on the radio and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called one nation under God.

If possible, please pass this prayer on to your friends. "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for everything."

Today's sermon was about The Temptation of our Lord Jesus. Matthew 4:1-11

The three main points of this passage shared by Mr. Eric Teo:

Jesus defended with God's word

I shan't elaborate on the entire sermon, but what really reminded me was that my entire life is in God's hands. Whatever happens to me, whether good or bad, it is all according to His plan. And because God allows such things to happen in my life, I am assured that God will always have a way made for me.

'No tempation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.' - 1 Corinthians 10:13

Today's training was okay, I guess. Coach trained me more in digging, and I finally know what's wrong with it all. Gotta gotta gotta change my habits! D: Habits are the worst things to change :/

I tried to mentally prepare myself for training today. Like you know, tell myself I must do this, this and that properly today. I'm not sure it worked? Maybe my mental and will power is kinda weak. Stuff on this to build up on? Totally yes.

We're finally going to get new shoes yeah! My old ones have not been washed since the first day I wore them, so yes, it stinks to high heavens. The back of my sole has totally come off, and the front is smooth like sandpaper ran over it. Slip and slide, the woes of my injuries!

Went to the hawker center nearby to lunch. The food there isn't as fantastic as Ghim Moh's! I miss Ghim Moh's Hokkien Mee, Prawn Mee, Chicken Rice, Popiah, Carrot Cake, what else? Everything there rocks your tastebuds, I tell you! I want Ghim Moh food! -hungry-

IT RAINED LIKE CATS AND DOGS.

Creshelle can't hold (yield) and umbrella properly! Haha, me and Pinky got drenched on either sides! LOL. Socks wet, shirt wet, bag wet, hair wet, shoes wet, skirt wet. GROSS.

HELLO!

Yesterday's sick-ten-oh-six outing was GREAT :D According to Sam, the bowling was a failure cause only Ivan, Xian Wei, Ying Liang, Melody and himseld went to bowl. 11am a bit too early huh!

Anyway, I went to Mel's house right after Geography Project. Shanisca, Clara and Mingwei came to my house. Mingwei uh, alighted at the wrong bus-stop and had to backtrack her steps .__. And we prayed for Clara so that she will be able to ____, and it worked! :) God's miracles. I don't think we really accomplished much during Geog Meeting, we kinda digressed way too much :/

Sat by the poolside at Mel's house and played Truth of Dare, which was a complete failure as well. (HAH) Finally went in for BBQ. MMM... Thank you Ying Liang, Khang Siang, Sam, Ivan, Tiong Jin and Xian Wei for cooking! :D Haha, Ying Liang who scored an A2 in Home Econs! 0.0 The chicken wings were absolute 'delish!' Oh yes, Xian Wei! How come you suddenly slip away huh! We all missed you! And your sweet sms of avoiding the scene of 'tearful hugs and goodbyes'. AAAWWWWW.

Class Outing = Blog Stalking. :D Haha, so we all happen to stalk the same blog and we all know the details, which is simply OH MY. And uh, Ivan is the ultimate stalker :) Live up to that name yeah! HAHA.

I miss the times we were as a class. I miss those times when we rolled on the floor laughing every single day. And I simply love how uniquely-us we were in every way.

Oh yes, who's up for sick-ten-oh-six chalet in December? :)

HELLO YOU! :D

Yes you, just you and YOU and you alone! HAHAHAHAH. I don't know what happened to me today! I was so tired after training, even had to chiong home for physics tuition, but now I'm hyper and full of energy! My body clock rocks your socks! :D

Haha, training was OKAY today. LOL. Skipped a total of 700 times, supposed to skip another 300, but had to chiong home, so YEAH. I won't be lazy though! Now that I've my personal skipping rope, I shall work hard at my abs and leg muscles! oooh yeah baby! SMILE x 100000!

Setting was crappy today. My shoes have no grip. YOU should take a look at my shoe soles, it's completely smooth D: Kept sliding, I had to skid to a stop :/ Oh well! Spiking was nuts too, but serving and digging were GREAT today. :D

I might actually like Physics! My tuition teacher is awesome. Seriously, yes! I'm so so in love with Physics. He's actually gotten my interest to that level. You've gotta applaud him for achieving such a feat.

Geography group meeting at my house tomorrow! YAYYNESS. Plus, there's sick-ten-oh-six gathering too! Lets' go piss off the security guards again, huh! :D

Yesterday's lunch wedding was great! Didn't get a chance to post yesterday cause bro was hogging the com =x So here,

Okay, right. I know my pictures mostly show my nieces playing on the stage at the lunch wedding =x But they looked so cute I couldn't resist taking pictures! And uh, playing with them :/ So now you see the childish side of me huh!

It started raining soon during the lunch wedding, really heavily. You could literally see the drains and carpart getting flooded with water.

Training today was tiring. Skipped a total of 800 times :/ and did medicine balls. Talking about medicine, a cup of HOT MILO beats the tablets my doctor gave me, anytime, any day. The pills he gave me didn't even work! I was cramping like crap throughout the entire training until break I ran out to get milo. Thank God for the vending machine outside gym!

Training was weird, too. We're supposedly the most senior in the Junior High team now. Which is really strange. I miss seniors! And I've regrets ending on that note. ): Never mind, we shall train harder yeah!

Went to Katong Laksa to eat :D Great food there.

Walked/Half-ran home in the rain because I didn't have an umbrella! WALKING IN THE RAIN AIN'T LOVE AT ALL. Especially when it's after training and then you feel so cold and gross ._.

I heard this phrase before: I love walking in the rain cause no one knows I'm crying.

HAH. That isn't me okay! It's a quote/phrase/whatever. I was running home, and I got home bedraggled and shivering :/

Okay, I'm off to do e-portfolio now. GAH. I wish homework was never invented.

Well yeah! BBTC was great today! I love it when Pastor Darren preaches! Today's message was about following God when warnings come, when inconveniences occur and when you've to change your lifestyle to continue following God. Well, we were not called to convenience, but to God's purpose! Have you been ignoring a warning from God? Have you been procrastinating what He has laid upon your heart?

Funny and weird warning signs:

SOCCER IN THE RAIN TODAY. SLIDING & FALLING ON WET GROUNDS. IS LOVE.

Yeah! Soccer is love! Even though I can't coordinate my legs to kick the ball :/ But I'm gonna take Varrick's compliment and ravish in it! (HAH) It goes along the lines that I'm a better goal-keeper than Jon & Huiyuen(sp?)! Yes, you can laugh now. :D

And Jocelyn the super scorer, Varrick and (uh, who's the other guy? ._.) play really well. Get your blister healed soon kay, Varrick! Seb the really really small cute guy, who is actually 15 years of age, and I thought he was p5! Well, he talks like a kid too :/ Victor, who's sec 1 is really much more mature (bravo!)

Soccer is really great, and it doesn't hurt when you fall! (unlike vball, sshhh!) :D

HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13TH! :D

Righto! I think today's a funny day! It's Friday the 13th, and it's also the last day of school! Who says 13 is an unlucky number? :D Well well! So guys, take note of THIS if you've a girl in mind to propose to!

During proposal, go down on one knee, or two if you're really desperate. Present her with a humongous bouqet of red roses. Take out the really large diamond ring and say: 'With you, I don't need luck.' After that, pray and hope that she says, 'YES.'

That's really cheesy eh! :D But it's a tad lame and stupid too. HAH. :)

Oh yeah! There's another reason to celebrate why it's Friday the 13th! I passed my Geography overall for this term! Praise the Lord to the highest! I PASSED! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

I still don't get why people freak out over seeing 10cm long caterpillars. They look weird and alien-ish, yes. But they're pretty much harmless! Unless you're a leaf. Okay, I got that from the radio which I heard in my dad's car on the way home! I thought, it was all quite true.

Stayed back to play ball with Chervelle and Shanisca today. Had a uber great time! Except for the fact that Coach thought I came to join C girls training and asked me to set with Anthea :/ We did set for a while, but only a tiny while.

It has been ages since I last wore JUBIX tee! Ah, it brings back wonderful memories yeah! <3

Went to the canteen afterwards to talk with Sha, Cherv and met Clara there! Crapped loads around, and SHANISCA, YOU ARE SO SO GUILLIBLE MY DEAR GIRL! :D

Ah, I can hardly wait for tomorrow! There's this concert thing at Sha's church tomorrow, and Laura, Clara, Chervelle, Shanisca and ME! are going! :D It'll be a load of fun! And after that, there's still BBTC! Woots!

Well, the only thing that's gonna ruin tomorrow is my math tuition at 9am! No sleeping in! D:

"... and so, Dunman High shall have a holiday on Thursday!" Mr. Sng announces smugly. Well, he was pretty pleased with the fantastic A-level results our pioneer batch had achieved this year. And THANK YOU SENIORS, for this school-declared holiday! We shall work hard too!

Well, tomorrow's holiday is gone gone gone! I can't sleep in, because I've to be somewhere in church for the morning, and there's match in the afternoon. There goes my holiday! I've to attempt to finish my chinese compo by tonight, so that I can indulge in playing out to my heart's content tomorrow!

HELLO!

Today was tiring! I kept falling asleep in class, and I actually fell asleep during Biology! Shh! Don't tell Ms Chua! I fell alseep for a good five minutes, before I suddenly heard her teaching again, and that was when I woke up!

"I think I'll just let you copy the notes and stop here for today. I don't think y'all can absorb anymore." Ms Chua said that, looking pointedly at me! In my mind, I went, 'oh crap!' But I was really tired, I couldn't even sit straight. And my calves finally gave me the full effects of muscle ache. How to survive PE and training tomorrow?(!)

Came home, cannot tahan anymore, ate lunch and straight to bed. I'm not one to take afternoon naps, but I slept for 2.5 hours straight! Without any dreams. YAY. I mean seriously. There was one time when I dreamt a really freaky, gory and bloody dream, I didn't dare to sleep the next night, but I prayed, and peace from above calmed me down.

I had a dream last night too, but it's not for sharing (: Sorry people!

HOMEWORK:

Color Jigglypuff and hand in to Yiqiu ASAP.
Chinese Compo due by Friday.

IDMI Science Proposal due by Wednesday.

Chemistry Practical File due on Friday.

HELLO! :D

SHOP went well today! I'm so thankful that the people I invited came!

I do hope that we can reach out to many more people out there, with the grace of God.

Today's training was GREAT! Even though the rain dampened everyone's mood. Not to mention that we can't use the Indoor Sports Hall because Senior High uses it every Monday afternoon, for mass PE. Sigh!

Coach made us run 10 rounds, up and down the second and third levels near at the ISH there. Amazingly, I didn't feel tired! It was exhilarating! But each time I went up the stairs, my leg muscles were trembling! O:

Also, I finally can do the double jump/skip/dutch thing! :D I feel so accomplished! But each time I jumped twice, the rope hit my head. GAH. Well! I got hit on the head ALOT, today. By spike balls, and by balls that hit the ceiling and came straight down on my head! O: I think I went a bit kuku today.

And playing by the vending machine with Creshelle was great! Haha, it was like we finally got to touch ball after a day of rainy anticipation. Somehow the ball got stuck on top of the vending machine and me and Creshelle were apparently too short to get the ball down even jumping! And there was this really tall basketball guy, who without jumping, retrieved the ball for us. We were like O.O. (HAH) If the basketball guy reads this, THANK YOU! for your awesome height!

WILL YOU BELIEVE THIS SOTONG.

I actually walked into the gents! At Changi Airport, Terminal 3. It wasn't my fault okay! I saw my brother walking, and I thought he was walking out. So I just followed the path he took, and it led right into the gents. O: I promise you, it was unintentional! Seriously! I went 'gasp!' and I practically ran out with my hands over my head. .___. -blush-

Anyway, we were there at Changi Airport in the first place to lunch at The Coffee Club, yet again! It's my third time lunching/dining at The Coffee Club, ever since my brother started working there! :D The food's there great, with the most awesome and refreshing coffee to perk up sleepy-heads like me! One day, I shall go there and mug/study/sleep. (HAH)

It was my brother who treated us to the muddy mudpie, not the manager! The latter treated us to almond shortcake. HAHAHAH :D I love my brother x 1000000000000000000 to the power of 1000000000000!!! -insert big heart here-

HELLO! :D

I just got back from church. Sermon was about the Book of Matthew. Unless you read the Book of Matthew and understand that God's plan is sovereign, then well, you would find this book quite irrelevant to our lives. God sees the lost, and His heart breaks whenever someone dies without salvation. That's what He sees, what do you see?

When things go badly, we need to know that God knows.
There is no difference between Jews & Gentiles, Men & Women, King & Commoners, because God loves us all.

"For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek ; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing His riches on all who call on Him. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:12-13

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY! :D

Like finally, the weekends are here! :D -screeeeaaaaamss for joy!!- I feel so so liberated! The past week has been total madness! So exhausting and quite terrible yah!

Oh man! Today's physics test was screwed! But I shall put it behind me and score well for the next test! :D Training was ah well! My wrist and left hand is getting worse, can't strain it any further or I'll simply dieeee D:

I shall go out and play tomorrow! :D I don't care, even if I can't find anyone to go out with me, I shall still play! No homework tomorrow! Although, I've a number of stuff due on Monday. :/ Why do these things always happen? Why can't teachers give us a break?(!)

Lunch date with Pinky and Kimbo at The Coffee Club was absolutely FANTABULOUS! :D

Well, we went there in the first place because my brother works there. He's a part-timer, waiting for A-level results AND to go NS :/

Believe me, when he saw me, his expression went: WHAT THE HECK.

After all, I'm his sister! -indignant-

Choosing the sector where my brother works in, you've gotta admit that I'm a genius! :D -thank you! thank you!- :D haha, it was pretty great though. The food there is simply scrumptious and delicious! Not to mention, their dessert.

We were extremely full and bloated by the time we finished lunch! (I ate Kimbo's pasta too .__.) But upon knowing that I'm my brother's sister, the manager treated us to a free muddy mudpie! :D hahahah. It was 'oh my goodness. I'm so full but I've gotta gobble this up.' Yes, it was that good.

The food will sound all the more appetizing, if the pictures from my phone would just transfer to my computer! Alas, the stubborn device wouldn't obey my wishes! (HAH)

So yes, thank me for not tempting you further into salivating for the delightfully delectable exquisite meal. :) And I just had to expound my vocabulary on that! :D

I don't like studying chengyus. Especially when we are required to learn a hundred of them! D:

I just remembered something! I came home late on Friday because of the W&I thingy, but I stayed longer than I should have due to _______. Anyway, I was running really late. So I caught 28 and dropped off at Jon's house. But I missed the bus I was supposed to catch from there! D: So I bobian take taxi.

I didn't really want to catch a taxi. Because, because it's creepy. And it's night time, and I was ALONE.

And the thing I just realized is that the taxi uncle didn't charge me for the 'peak-hour' fare. He could have easily earned twice or thrice from what I paid him! D: He's so nice! He merely asked me why I was going home so late. I mean, you'd ask to right? Especially when I had my school bag and stuff still with me. Haha, yes I know. Bad impression on DHS? Nonono, I am very guai and studious! :D

I told the uncle that I went to church after school, etc. And well, he really didn't charge me for that extra fare! What with all the economic recession and terrible financial difficulties. He's so kind!
