hello again! :D

math test was swell today...
i kinda screwed up in algebra AND mensuration.
so that's like pretty much the entire paper.
hahs!

but i don't give a damn anymore :D
i'm gonna concentrate on history, which is due tomorrow.
HOHOHO

JANET TAY IS FINALLY LIBERATED FROM MATHEMATICS! :DD

i'm also done with the science fair report and research,
which i've been working on for the past three days ._.
it's finally done, done, done.
and i actually managed to summarize over a thousand words,
into 5000 words! :D

hello :D

i've not updated for like, 4 days?

i've been busy ._.

it's been a test week.

tests after tests.

i'm going nuts.

and oh, we've got another chinese test coming up in week 9,

whereby we're supposed to memorize 250 chengyus.

fish.

math test tomorrow and history on the day after.

i almost flunked my algebra pop quiz.

i'm hopeless at math,

and wonder how i'm gonna pass tomorrow ><

crap lah.

on a sadder note,

weige has already officially left twojayistoogay!

damn it.

it's really a sad thing for us all.

on saturday, we gathered as a class and went to Changi Airport to send him off.

from a bunch of rowdy, boisterious teens,

we became a bunch of bawling, sniffing cry-babys.

when we took pur final pictures,

rachel said: we all look like shit lah.

we were trying to smile through our crumpled faces.

still, it was tears which held a mixture of emotions.

don't cry because he's leaving, smile because he'll be happy.

i believed in that.

though i'm not particularly close to weige,
i cried like never before,

--in public.

i've never cried in public before,

and i'll do my damnest to will myself not to cry.

my will was broken this time round.

on a happier note,

science was particularly fun today :D

a rare thing to happen,

because it's physics.

and physics is linked to math,

which i suck at ._______.

DEAREST WEIGE,

This post is dedicated to you. I want you to know how much you meant as a classmate to me. Through the morning blues, through the dreary afternoons, you've always been a part of Jubix. You have brought us through thus far, we survived through the mornings because of you.

Your talent in making, creating music with your violin is quite too outstanding. It drowns away our morning blues, and sometimes, when I sleep in class, your music sooths the blues of me. I'm certain many feel this way too. And for that, I thank you!

Your character, your personailty, your everything, has made Jubix a livelier class than ever. I wish you could stay to bring more to Jubix. Alas, it is not to be so.

Hence, here's to wishing you a great future in Canada, Vancouver! Stay happy always, like you've been. Wherever you go, you will always be a blessing to others, that I can assure you.

GAP--

TODAY WA SUPERBLY FUN :D

we had GAP in the morning -- General Arts Program
and i finally finished my art piece of three weird animals :D

from normal animals,

to weird animals :D

first up, we have a fox with bird wings, hoho. the face looks weird, but whatever. :D

second, an elephant ears with a dog's body. okay, the drawing is good, but i screwed it up with my horrid coloring. it'll really help if you just looked at the head and ears, and not the body :D thank you very much, hoho!

many people 'adored' this insect the most. it's a praying-mantis cum grasshopper :D i've added in a tinge of gold actually, but it can't be seen. i think the camera flash was the culprit! ><

hohoho, i hope i do well for GAP
i like coloring, plus drawing of course :D
though i can't say that my art is up to that standard.

i endured the remaining last hours of the day and finally went to play volleyball :D
did some setting today, hahas
and well, yeah.
just the normal training routines.
played in school for a while and finally went home with teammies :D

and we had ALOT of fun in the MRT,
which i am not at liberty to share with y'all

I'VE FINISHED MY WORK :D

okay, so i'm a good girl yeah [:

math mensuration test yesterday
and i screwed it up.
like the entire class save 2 people -- Grace and Weige!!
we all didn't complete the spring test
4 marks gone!!
so it's either do or die.
but i've 8/12, i think.

algebra math test today.
algebraic manipulation test.
i can't do algebra,
thank you very much.

hello :D

i'm happy today because history didn't repeat itself.
at least, i certainly hope so.

okay, you so wouldn't know what i'm talking about
unless you look at my post on 30th April.

had chinese test today and i think i did pretty well,
considering the last time i totally flopped in it and knew A wasn't in my reach.
it was good, today.

chinese test today, math test tomorrow, many many tests in the following weeks.
i think i'm gonna screw up tomorrow's math,
because i'm hopeless at mensuration/algebra-- anything to do with math =O

had severe muscle aches today thanks to yesterday.
couldn't even walk up and down stairs or go to the toilet without
experiencing aches in my thigh ><
but i'm contented with it
because it's proven i've not slacked during yesterday's training! :DD

that, is the satisfaction of pain.
so bring it on again (:

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY :)

FPS was great today, i reckon.
i've been feeling really HIGH these few days
all thanks to MOV!!
the reactions people give me after i ask people the famous three lines[you ppl should know!]
make me laugh like mad
and i've three marriage partners already!

yayy! :D

I think my group (clara, samantha, me and wei heng) did better than last year, although we were handicapped as Sharon could not make it for the competition. I feel that we've really learnt to work in whatever circumstances which arise and to handle our stress emotions with proper care so that we will be able to concentrate fully on the proposal. Wei Heng joined our group in the end :D He's good. Come Year 3, if we still have this program, I'll surely take it. Alas, that is not so.

okay, i know i'm writing reflections.
but, whatever :D

a short post :D

because i've to get back to science and math and chinese later :O

yesterday was our first day with Miss Wee, our new LA teacher

she bears an UNCANNY RESEMBLANCE to Mrs Ang,

and that kind of freaked out my class. HAH

'i'm brutally frank.'

that was the very SAME line Mrs Ang told us on her firstday with 1J!

it's freaky, really really freakkkkkkkkkkky.

overall, she's extremely nice and funny and entertaining(??)

but you get the idea yeah :D

another 'highlight' of yesterday

was when yuhua and zhangyang started fighting over FOOD.

FIRST DAY OF NORMAL LESSONS :D

and my first day sitting with yiren.
which turned out to be quite a suffering ]:

in math lesson:
yiren: janet, you want sweets?
me: umm, okays[:
yiren: you scared of spicy?
me: uhh, yeah
yiren: spit it out if you can't take it.

i didn't believe yiren!
who would have thought that they are spicy sweets?!
i mean, i should have thought of it
since there are like sour sweets around
and the phrase' sweet and spicy' actually exists! ><

i fell for it.
and spent the next 15 mins drinking 500ml of water
because my tongue and lips were on fire.
thanks alot!
and- i had the hiccups.
so i went 'hic-hic-hic' for the next 10 mins ><
and after that
i really needed the toilet
to pee.

in science lesson:
teacher: what is a period?
yiren: a period is when a girl bleeds.
me: -laughs-

nah, teacher wasn't talking about the 'forbidden chapter' -ahem!-
we're learning waves this term
and to tell you frankly
i can't score in physics
only biology
my EOYs are so gonna die :O

which makes me drink a gallon of water
